SAIDD is the first repository for the legal definitions of artificial intelligence-related terms. Policymakers should not reinvent the wheel by developing new definitions for each new AI legislative or regulatory proposal. By collecting all the current statutory and regulatory definitions related to AI in one place available to all, we can avoid duplication and ensure consistent use of high quality definitions across various policies.
